I think 2011 will be an interesting challenge for ALL of our membership.  With Post Stimulus Contracts winding down, most municipalities are looking at reduced budgets for the upcoming season.  Elections will have a delayed effect on monies being released until the New Regimes can approve budgets.  Infrastructure spending continues to be OUR #1 priority in the Niagara Region, to improve our roadways, limit sewer overflows, and maintain the quality of our drinking water.

Looking forward, I am hoping that with the tightening of the purse strings there will be a spirirt of cooperation amongst our membership and our customers alike to see us through these trying times.
